Macs Lift 'the lunchtime facelift'
The minimal access facelift is also known as the lunchtime facelift because it can be performed in 2 hours using modern local anaesthetic techniques. ‘Think on the lines of the dentist’ No need for risky general anaesthetics, or in hospital stay. At approximately half the price of a traditional facelift most patients can be assured of a satisfactory long-term solution to facial rejuvenation. Using a short scar within the contours of the ear the tissues of the face are repositioned and the skin tightened. No need for head bandages or hiding away, you will walk out of the clinic with minimal dressings and within 24hrs you should be able to get on with a more relaxed lifestyle. Bruising, swelling and complications are minimal. Our Consultant Plastic Surgeon has performed over 20 procedures in the last 6 months, with high patient satisfaction and recommendation. Take a look at our patient gallery, read a patient diary and browse through some of our patient feedback.

Pay attention to the jaw line going from square to more defined. Look at the more youthful cheek as volume is created by lifting the tissues softening the nasolabial folds/creases.

Patient diary
9th August 2008
I was a bit nervous on the day and excited at the same time. I knew I had to go ahead with the op and if I didn’t have it done now I never would.
The first thing the doctor did was inject me face which wasn’t too bad, just a little injection on my cheeks and the front of my ears.
The operation itself didn’t hurt, I just felt a little pulling, but all the time the nurses and surgeon were chatting (and so was I).
After the op I went into my recovery room and had a cup of coffee, and within 20 minutes I was on my way home.
My face felt a bit tight around the front of my ears and upper cheeks. The area around my ears was a bit swollen, but I knew that was only temporary.
17th August 2008
My swelling had gone and it looked great. It felt so smooth and firm along my jaw line and cheeks, but not too noticeable that everyone would be able to tell. People just kept saying what a good job Mr Paterson had done. My scarring was slightly red and I had to watch that I didn’t lift anything too heavy – and made sure I slept on my back.
31st August 2008
Face is great everyone keeps telling me how well I look. I still feel a bit numb on my cheeks and ext to my ears.
16th September 2008
Going on holiday, putting e45 cream on my scars and a bit of concealer. It still feels a bit tight around my ear area. Depending on what I do sometimes it feels tighter.
24th September 2008
Back from holiday no problem with my op put plenty of sun block on my face. Still using e45 cream.
30th September 2008
Had a check up at the clinic, and Mr Paterson said all was looking good and the scars are healing great. Showed me the photo of myself before the op (didn’t think i looked that bad!) Feel so much better.
30th October 2008
Still feels a bit tight at the front of my ears, and it feels a bit numb still. Just a slight pink scarring now. Its looking good.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially as it lasts (probably forever)
